ABOUT THE COMPANY
Mobil 1 Lube Express + Tires locations fall under the quick drive-through oil change businesses. This particular Mobil 1 Lube Express + Tires is located in a suburb of Langley, British Columbia called Walnut Grove. They offer several different types of services, some of which include oil changes, tire services, and battery replacements.
THE CHALLENGE
This Mobil 1 Lube Express + Tires had worked with several other agencies in order to have their Facebook Ads lead to actual customers in a cost-effective manner. Some agencies were able to reduce the cost per lead, but resulted in very few actual customers and other agencies were able to bring in customers, but the costs were significantly more than the value of the customer themselves.
Objectives, Strategy & Implementation:
- The objective was to run a Facebook Ads account in an effective manner in order to bring in at least 20 new customers at a cost per lead of below $8.
- The strategy was simple, use coupon incentives to bring in new leads, then convince them to bring their car in for service. This sounds simple, however, this required an overhaul of how we ran the various campaigns. Campaigns were split into “seasons” as people are looking for different things for their cars depending on weather conditions. In addition, we changed a landing page form that was originally in place to a Facebook lead form to reduce friction for potential customers. We also redesigned all previous coupon ads to be more enticing and boost conversions. Lastly, we implemented an automatic trigger email flow for each coupon we were advertising in order to increase conversions from leads to actual customers.
Results
We did not only achieve our objective, but we absolutely crushed it!
Over a 6 month period, we were able to achieve:
- Leads: 1,133
- Cost Per Lead: $5.55
- Actual New Customers: 329
- Total Spend: $6868.39
- Expanding our FB ads efforts to 3 other Mobil 1 Lube Express Locations
